ALMA Cycle 7 ACA Supplemental Call for Proposals open

The Joint ALMA Observatory has opened the Cycle 7 ACA Supplemental Call for Proposals. This call will accept observing proposals for Cycle 7 that request to use the Atacama Compact Array (ACA) in stand-alone mode. Users of any nationality or affiliation are invited to submit proposals before the deadline of 15:00 UT on Tuesday 1 October 2019.

This year proposals submitted to the Supplemental Call will be peer reviewed using a distributed system in which each proposal team selects a designated reviewer to participate in the review process. The review process is described in detail in the Supplemental Call documentation. For information on how to apply please see this link.

If you wish to discuss a proposal with UK ARC Node staff please contact us.

ALMA "Bring Your Own Data" Workshop

We would like to gauge interest in a "bring your own data" workshop where people can come to the UK ARC Node in Manchester and work on ALMA data processing and analysis alongside ALMA support staff. Both people with data from their own projects and people working with archival data can come.

If you would be interested in attending such an event, please fill in our poll.
