CASA downloads
Please see the official CASA pages for up to date releases.
The CASA installations contain sample data and scripts. We will mostly be using the VLA Jupiter example (calibration, editing, imaging, polarization) and the BIMA NGC 4826 example (spectral line, mosaicing). Once you have downloaded and unzipped/extracted CASA, look in lib/python2.5/regressions for ngc4826_tutorial.py and jupiter6cm_demo.py. You can get the data from http://casa.nrao.edu/Data/BIMA/NGC4826/ngc4826.fitsfiles.tgz and http://casa.nrao.edu/Data/VLA/Planets6cm/planets_6cm.fits
